Point Lynas Lighthouse, Anglesey, North Wales

 

Point Lynas, or Goleudy Trwyn y Balog in Welsh, can be found in Llaneilian on the northeast of Anglesey in North Wales. In 1835 the Point Lynas Lighthouse was built onto a Pilot Station that was originally built in 1779. The lighthouse is still operational to this day, although now privately owned.
